National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Environmental Working Group warn consumers and employees that quaternary ammonium active ingredients and alcohol used in cleaning wipes are not safe and can cause asthma, skin irritations, spreading of germs and cause resistant strains of germs to be formed that are also resistant to current prescription antibiotics. NIH also warn topical alcohol products that use aloe can cause cancer and are at risk for intoxicating small children and the elderly when cuts or scrapes come in direct contact with the alcohol.
Si Homeopathic Hand/Cleaning Wipes do not use these harmful active ingredients.
